Spore.Bio is a deeptech start-up born in 2023, building a new paradigm in the quality control systems in Food&Beverage, Cosmetics, and Pharmaceutics factories.

After spending a lot of time in factories environments, we saw the pain it was to make sure products were safe. Traditional quality control has heavy constraints and long waiting times. To change that, we decided to build Spore.Bio, a new generation of microbiological testing.

Our team is dedicated to bringing technology and developing a cutting-edge solution, based on advanced optical and deep-learning technologies, to detect bacterial contamination within seconds.

If you ready to revolutionize microbiology monitoring in factories - Spore.Bio is actively seeking a talented and passionate Microbiology Field Operations Intern to be part part of the development of our cutting-edge solution. Join our dynamic team of R&D experts and product managers and play a key role in shaping the future of industrial microbiology.

About the role

• On-Site Deployment: Ensure the installation and successful implementation of our prototype at client facilities, guaranteeing a seamless user experience.
• Training & Support: Train future operators, empowering them to confidently use our technology.
• Customer Relations: Be the key point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication, proactive problem-solving, and long-term satisfaction. You’ll represent Spore.Bio’s expertise and values.
• Market Insights: Gather customer feedback and industry insights to refine our product and support strategic decisions.
• Operational Support: Contribute to process documentation, internal communication, and event organization, helping structure and scale our operations.

About you

Required qualifications/ experience :

• Engineering student (final year or gap-year), with a strong interest in technology, microbiology, and hands-on client work.
• Customer-Focused & People-Oriented: You’re comfortable engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and creating positive interactions. Human contact energizes you!
  
• Fast Learner & Adaptable: You love challenges, pick up new skills quickly, and embrace opportunities to grow.
  
• Autonomous & Proactive: You take initiative, solve problems efficiently, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.

• 30-min call with the Hiring Manager
• 45-min personality interview with two team members
• A 1 hour business/technical case study followed by a debrief with team members
• 1 hour Founders interview
